Panasonic Announces Pro High Speed Series SD Cards

Panasonic have introduced the "PRO HIGH SPEED Series" SD cards that have double the speed of Panasonic's "Super High Speed Series" SD memory cards. They have so far announced a 512MB and 1GB version, that have data transfer rates of up to 20MB a second, when used with SD products which comply with a newly upgraded interface.

They can be used with current SD-enabled products to achieve the same maximum high-speed data transfer of up to 10MB/s as that provided by Super High Speed Series. Sale of the memory cards worldwide is scheduled to begin in October.
